Day of Dance at RIR...

Well, I made my last appearance today at the Day of Dance, a huge event for the American Heart Association to raise awareness and prevention of the number ONE killer of Americans, Heart Disease. When the judges asked me what I would do if crowned Mrs. VA International, I told them this would be my first appearance. Even though, I didn't win the crown, I will still continue to fight for this cause. My story will be told. I lost my father from a heart defect, altering my life forever. I was raised by a single mom and while my life was not easy, I was given the tools to further my education and to help people. I vow to continue my work, crown or no crown. Don't become a statistic!
