Let's Zumba baby!

As I said, this blog is to share my life and my philosophy of living in the moment. I started teaching yoga a couple of years ago and I learned that while I was spending an hour in a quiet room with my students, that we all needed to 'escape' and reduce our stress. I found that by not spending precious energy trying to change the past (which you can't do!) or trying to control or predict the future, the moment is the only thing we have. We've all heard the saying that life is not about the destination but the journey. Here are snap shots of my journey. These pictures are from an outdoor Zumba class that I coordinated to about 60 people. Two of my delegates from America's Fit Miss even attended! We had a dj and 3 of my staff taught with me. The class overlooked the resevoir and it was very surreal watching the sun come up. If you haven't had a chance to take a Zumba class, log onto zumba.com to find a class near you! If you live in the Richmond area, come take my class! I would love to salsa with you!
